Ankush hits 109 as Sporting Union win in Jr U-18 invitational meet

Taltala Institute, National Athletic Club, Sahapur Sporting Club and Sporting Union registered comfortable victories in the Round One matches of the CAB Junior Under-18 Invitational league cum knockout Tournament on Monday.
In the first match, Ankush Sur scored a fine 109 as Sporting Union beat Calcutta Rangers Club by 7 wickets.
In other matches, Arindam Adhikari (88), Kalimulla Siddiki (3-33) and Dhruvanka Das (3-40) helped National Athletic Club beat Bengal Sporting by 6 wickets.
Dipesh Chandra (76) and Ramen Kumar Sikdar (4-45) helped Taltala Institute beat Kalighat by 70 runs.
Sahapur Sporting Club beat Baranagar SC by virtue of spin of coin after overnight rains forced the match to be abandoned. 
In the Pre-quarterfinal match, Anish Paul (52) and Ashutosh Kumar (4-28) helped Wari A.C beat Albert Sporting by 73 runs.
