Town Club take on Barisha Sporting Club in 1st Div One-Day meet final at Eden

Town Club will be up against Barisha Sporting Club in the summit clash of the CAB 1st Division One-Day league cum knockout tournament at the Eden Gardens on Friday.
Earlier, the two teams registered comfortable victories in their respective semifinal matches.
In the first semifinal, Suvankar Bal smashed a superb 134 along with Ompal Boken (90) as Town Club beat E.RLY.Sports Association by 190 runs. Sandeep Tomar bagged three wickets for Town.
In the second semifinal clash, Anurag Tiwari (53) and Ayush Pandey (52) helped Barisha Sporting Club beat Tapan Memorial Club by virtue of higher run rate. Batting first, Barisha Sporting posted 250/8. In reply, Tapan Memorial were 151/7 when bad light stopped play. With the light showing no signs of improvement, the match was abandoned, and Barisha were declared winners.
