Cricket Club of Bhowanipore and Behala Friends Union Club entered the quarterfinals of the CAB 2nd Division One-Day league cum knockout tournament after registering easy victories in their first Pre-quarterfinals matches on Monday.
In the first match, Supriyo Sil (95) and Sanjit Sardar (3-18) helped Cricket Club of Bhowanipore beat Jorabagan Club by 2 wickets. Arijit Seal scored a fine 101 for Jorabagan.
In the second match, Pradunya Sarkar (93) and Masroor Haider Khan (3-45) helped Behala Friends Union Club beat Cricket Club of Dhakuria by 3 wickets. Iman Dutta scored a fine 86 and also claimed four wickets for Dhakuria.
