Greer Sporting Club enters 2nd Div two-day meet final

Victor Upadhaya (4-54) and Niranjan Raut (3-39) were superb with the ball as Greer Sporting Club defeated International Club by 5 wickets in the semifinal clash to make the final of the CAB Second Division two-day league cum knockout tournament on Monday. Batting first, International Club were bundled out for just 188. In reply, Greer Sporting Club chased it down, scoring 189/5 on Day 2. Victor also scored a fine 42 while Atandra Das smashed an unbeaten 47.
In the other semifinal match, Sourav Patra scored a fine 120 as Howrah Sporting Club posted 291 at stumps on Day 1 against Calcutta Port Trust Sports Club. Monomit Mitra (7-104) was superb with the ball.
