Calcutta Customs Club enters semifinals of J C Mukherjee T20 meet

Arikta Das (53) and Bapi Manna (3-15) helped Calcutta Customs Club defeat Netaji Subhas Institute in the quarterfinal match to enter the semifinals of the J C Mukherjee T20 league cum knockout tournament on Sunday. Batting first, Calcutta Customs posted 150/8 in 20 overs. Arijit Banerjee bagged four wickets for Netaji Subhas Institute. In reply, Netaji Subhas Institute managed only 128/9 in 20 overs.
In the Pre-Quarterfinal match, East Bengal Club beat Kalighat Club by virtue of lesser number of wickets. Batting first, Ankur Paul (60) and Sunny Patel (53 not out) helped East Bengal post 164/3 in 20 overs. In reply, Shreyansh Ghosh (44 not out) helped Kalighat level the scores with 164/6 in 20 overs.
