Excelsiors Club defeated Howrah Union by 6 wickets in the Pre-quarterfinals of CAB 2nd Division One-Day league cum knockout tournament on Monday.
Batting first, Howrah Union were bowled out for 147. Madhav Kushwaha (4-20) was superb with the ball.
In reply, Excelsiors Club chased it down, scoring 151/4, thanks to Rahul Roy (78). Mohd Shoaib bagged three wickets.
