Behala Friends Union and Aurora Athletic Association registered comfortable victories in their respective matches in the pre-quarterfinals of the CAB Second Division two-day league cum knockout tournament on Thursday.
In the first match, Aurora Athletic Association beat Ballygunge Sporting Association by 1 wicket. Batting first, Ballygunge Sporting Association managed to score 232. In reply, Aurora Athletic Association chased it down, scoring 233/9.
In the second match, Masroor Haider Khan (6-29) was impressive with the ball as Behala Friends Union beat Uttarpalli Milan Sangha by 8 wickets. Batting first, Uttarpalli Milan Sangha were bundled out for 72. In reply, Behala chased it down, scoring 77/2.
