Md Kaif bags 5 for Town Club in 1st Div Playoff Semifinal clash

Md Kaif (5-48) was superb with the ball as Town Club bowled out Mohammedan Sporting Club for 219 on Day 1 in the first Semifinal clash of the CAB First Division Play-Off Championship on Thursday. Batting first, Ravikanth Shukla top-scored for Md. Sporting with 46 runs. In reply, Town Club were 64/2 at stumps.
In the second semifinal, Subham Chatterjee (85 not out) and Writam Porel (65 not out) helped Kalighat Club reach 234/4 at stumps against Barisha Sporting Club.
