University win in Inter University T20 Meet

Jadavpur University, Burdwan University and Calcutta University registered comfortable victories in their respective matches in the CAB Inter University T20 league cum knockout tournament on Monday.
In the first match, Sumit Kumar (5-13) helped Jadavpur University beat Visva Bharati by 50 runs. Batting first, Jadavpur University posted 139 in 20 overs. Jyoti Prakash Bhore bagged three wickets. In reply, Visva Bharati were bundled out for 89.
In other matches, Burdwan University beat Technological Students Gymkhana by 89 runs. Batting first, Sachin Dubey (71) helped Burdwan University post 227. In reply, Technological Students Gymkhana were bowled out for 138. Abhro Das (3-3) was superb with the ball.
Amanjyot Singh (6-13) helped Calcutta University beat Kalyani University by 5 wickets. Batting first, Kalyani University managed to post 112/9. In reply, Calcutta University chased it down, scoring 115/5.
