Kaushik slams 191 as Bhawanipore Club post 501 in 1st Div Playoff Quarterfinals

Kaushik Ghosh smashed a superb 191 as Bhawanipore Club managed to post 501 against Mohammedan Sporting Club in the Quarterfinals of the CAB First Division Play-Off Championship on Saturday. Vikas bagged four wickets while Vaibhav Yadav clinched three. In reply, Gitimoy Basu (91) and Ravikanth Shukla (81 not out) helped Md. Sporting reach 232/3 at stumps on Day 2.
In other matches, Subham Sarkar (87 not out) and Uvais Ahmad (60) helped Mohun Bagan A.C post 546/9 against Town Club. Md Kaif bagged four wickets. In reply, Town Club were 140/4 at stumps.
Kalighat Club managed to post 285 against East Bengal Club, thanks to Shreyansh Ghosh (100). Susanta Das bagged four wickets. In reply, East Bengal Club were 127/7 at stumps. Amritoze Singh remained unbeaten on 64. B Amit, Kaushik Maity, Vikas Singh bagged two wickets each.
