Jitender bags 8 for Ananda Bazar Patrika Sports Club in 1st Div meet Qualifier 1

Jitender Shaw (8-85) was superb with the ball as Ananda Bazar Patrika Sports Club defeated Dalhousie Athletic Club by 79 runs in the Qualifier 1 of the CAB 1st Division Group B & C league cum knockout tournament on Thursday. Batting first, Swagato Ganguly (100) helped Ananda Bazar Patrika Sports Club post 286/6. Vishal Kr Roy bagged three wickets. In reply, Dalhousie Athletic Club were bundled for just 207.
In the second match, B.N.R Recreation Club beat Shibpur Institute by 113 runs. Bishal Ghosh (100) was excellent with the bat as B.N.R Recreation Club posted 377/9. Tribrit Roy (4-66) was superb with the ball. In reply, despite a fine 119 by Ashwin Sharma, Shibpur Institute were bowled out for 264. Anirban Gupta bagged six wickets.
