Rajdeep Paswan (106 not out), Sourav Paul (73 not out) and Sudip Talukder (7-63) helped Sahapur Sporting Club beat Cricket Club of Dhakuria by 8 wickets in the Qualifier 1 of the CAB Second Division two-day league cum knockout tournament on Friday. Batting first, Cricket Club of Dhakuria were bowled out for 204. In reply, Sahapur Sporting Club chased it down, scoring 208/2.
In other matches, Aamir Hussain (189) and Ajay Yadav (4-70) helped Victoria Sporting Club beat High Court Club by 217 runs. Batting first, Victoria Sporting Club posted 426/5. In reply, High Court Club were bowled out for 209. Ayush Roy scored a fine 91.
Measerers Club beat White Border by 58 runs. Anurag Somani (87) and Rahul Pal (61) helped Measerers Club post 265. Tanay Mondal bagged three wickets. In reply, White Border were bowled out for 207. Aditya Dutta bagged four wickets.
Sarat Samity beat Central Calcutta Sporting Club by 29 runs. Sayantan Paul (6-71) was superb with the ball as Sarat Samity were bundled out for 216. Ayush Ghosh top-scored with 61 runs. In reply, Central Calcutta Sporting Club were bowled out for 187. Sudip Halder scored a fine 105. Harsh Shaw bagged four wickets.
