Team Purple and Team Green win in Women’s One-Day meet

Team Purple and Team Green registered comfortable victories in their respective matches in the CAB Women’s One-Day league cum knockout tournament on Friday.
In first match, Team Green defeated Team Yellow by 6 wickets. Batting first, Team Yellow scored 189/8 in 42 overs, thanks to Bristi Maji (97). Priyanka Golder bagged three wickets. In reply, Shrabani Paul (81 not out) and Priyanka (31) helped Team Green chase it down, scoring 190/4 in 37.5 overs.
In the second match, Team Purple beat Team Maroon by 9 wickets. Batting first, Team Maroon were bundled out for just 103, thanks to Pampa Sarkar (3-21) , Dhara Gujjar (2-1) and Piyali Ghosh (2-16). In reply, Dhara (73 not out) helped Team Purple chase it down easily, scoring 106/1 in 21 overs.
