Burdwan & Midnapore win in Inter District U-15 one-day meet

Burdwan and Midnapore registered comfortable victories in their respective matches in the CAB Inter-District Under-15 One-Day league cum knockout tournament on Monday.
In the day’s first match, Burdwan defeated Murshidabad by 7 wickets. Batting first, Murshidabad were bundled out for just 100. Ankit, Ayan Pal, Pratyashita Dasaundhi bagged two wickets each. In reply, Burdwan chased it down, scoring 101/3.
In the day’s second match, Midnapore defeated Chandannagore by 2 wickets. Chandannagore were bundled out for 155. Dhrub Kacher bagged five wickets. In reply, Midnapore chased it down, scoring 156/8, thanks to Swastik Maiti (55). Aditya Sarkar bagged four wickets.
