Team Blue & Team Purple win in Women’s One-Day meet

Team Blue and Team Purple registered comfortable victories in their respective matches in the CAB Women’s One-Day league cum knockout tournament on Monday.
In the day’s first match, Team Blue defeated Team Yellow by 152 runs. Jhumia Khatun (88) helped Team Blue score 307/5 in 48 overs. In reply, Team Yellow were bowled out for 155, thanks to Debarati Guha (3-9) and Ashmita Das (3-10).
In the day’s second match, Team Purple defeated Team Orange by 8 wickets. Team Orange were bowled out for 131, thanks to Tithi Das (2-24). In reply, Dhara Gujjar (86 not out) helped Team Purple chase the target down, scoring 132/2.
