Hooghly score 170/9 on Day 1 in final of Inter District U-18 two-day meet

Hooghly managed to reach 170/9 in 68 overs at stumps on Day 1 against Burdwan in the final of CAB Inter-District Under-18 Two-Day league cum knockout tournament at the JU 2nd Campus Ground on Sunday.
Opting to bat, Apoorv Chaturvedi scored a much-needed 55 along with Akash Kumar Mishra (30) but wickets at regular intervals put the break on their scoring.
For Burdwan, Sahil Shah (3-23) and Karan Jay Kumar (3-40) were superb with the ball.
