Chandernagore, Hooghly, Birbhum win big in Inter District U-15 one-day meet

Chandernagore, Hooghly, Midnapore, Burdwan, Birbhum and Murshidabad registered comfortable victories in their respective matches in the CAB Inter-District Under-15 One-Day league cum knockout tournament on Sunday.
In the day's first match, a superb all-round show by Agniswar Das (122, 5-43) helped Birbhum beat South 24-PGS by 6 wickets.
In other matches, Ankush Ghatak (7-20) and Biru Hela (90) helped Chandernagore beat North 24-PGS by 6 wickets.
Tushar Yadav (4-21) helped Hooghly beat Malda by 58 runs.
Swastik Maiti (88) helped Midnapore beat Uttar Dinajpur by 226 runs.
Abhiprai Biswas (96) and Abhijit Sen (4-30) helped Burdwan beat Howrah by 31 runs.
Nazful Alam (82) helped Murshidabad beat Jalpaiguri by 41 runs.
