Russell in full flow at the KKR nets

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) flamboyant all-rounder Andre Russell looked in sublime touch, smashing some big blows at the nets as the Indian Premier League franchise underwent a practice session at the Eden Gardens on Thursday.
The full squad has not assembled yet, but the other star players from the team made the two-hour long practice session an exciting one to watch for the fans present at the stands.
Besides Russell, the other top Indian players present were Nitish Rana, Rinku Singh and Venkatesh Iyer.
Under the watchful eyes of head coach Chandrakant Pandit, the Kolkata-based team began the session with warm-ups, followed by some training drills and catching practice. The session concluded with the batters striking it big at the nets.
