South Zone emerge champions in Inter District Women's U-14 Zonal one-day meet

A superb bowling effort helped South Zone defeat West Zone by 8 wickets in the final to emerge champions in the CAB Inter District Women's Under-14 Zonal One-Day tournament in Burdwan on Wednesday.
Batting first, West Zone were bundled out for just 37 in 31.4 overs, thanks to Priti Mahata (4-8), Priyanka Golder (3-2) and Aradhya Kumari Tiwary (2-3).
In reply, Ipshita Mondal (19 not out) helped South Zone chase it down comfortably, scoring 41/2 in 8.1 overs.
