the Deaf win in 2nd Div two-day meet

Sandeep Das smashed a superb unbeaten 158 to help WB Association of the Deaf beat Bani Niketan Sports Club by 1 wicket on Day 2 in the CAB Second Division two-day league cum knockout tournament on Friday. Bani Niketan Sports Club posted 315. In reply, WB Association of the Deaf chased it down scoring 316/9.
In other matches, Jhantova Debnath (153 not out) and Krishnendu Guha (7-67) helped Greer Sporting Club beat Howrah Sporting Union by 195 runs. Greer Sporting posted 321/7. In reply, Howrah Sporting Union were bundled out for 126.
Neelotpal Barui (4-61, 79) helped Abasar beat Bata Sports Club by 3 wickets. Bata Sports Club managed to score 230, thanks to Venkatesh Reddy (56). In reply, Abasar chased it down scoring 231/7.
Howrah Union beat Cossipore Club by 237 runs. Harsh Kumar (122) helped Howrah Union post 371 against Cossipore Club. In reply, Cossipore Club were bowled out for 134, thanks to Md Abrar Alam (3-42).
