North 24-PGS emerge champions in
Inter District women's U-18 meet

North 24-PGS displayed an all-round performance to beat Nadia by 5 wickets in the final to emerge champions in the CAB Inter District women's Under-18 one-day league cum knockout tournament on Thursday.
Opting to bat, Nadia were in deep trouble with half their side back in the hut with just 74 on the board.
However, skipper Bipasha Ghosh (38) managed to score some crucial runs to help team reach 136/9 in 45 overs.
Swastika Kundu (3-30) impressed with the ball for North 24-PGS.
Chasing the target, Vidhi Kejariwal (32) gave North 24-PGS a fine start.
Despite a couple of vital wicket, North 24-PGS batters kept their cool to help team cross the line comfortably scoring 137/5 in 39.2 overs at the Eden Gardens.
