Sachin Rajak hits 173 for Sarat Samity in 2nd Div two-day meet

Leading from the front, Sachin Rajak (173) batted superbly to help Sarat Samity post 323 in 46.2 overs against Mauri Sporting Club on Day 1 in the CAB Second Division two-day league cum knockout tournament on Sunday.
Indrajeet Singh bagged six wickets for Mauri Sporting Club. In reply, Mauri Sporting Club were struggling at 126/8 at stumps.
In the day’s second match, Rehan Raja Khan (7-50) bowled superbly to help Alipore Sporting Club bundle out Baranagar Sporting Club for 193. In reply, Alipore were 60/2 at stumps.
In the day’s third match, riding on a fine 100 by Md. Imtiaz Ali, Victoria Sporting Club posted 389 against Bani Niketan Sports Club.
Sayantan Mahapatra bagged four wickets. In reply, Bani Niketan Sports Club were 27 for no loss at stumps.
In the day’s fourth match, Jeet Thakur (100) helped City A.C post 365 against Measerers Club. Amit Pathak bagged six wickets. In reply, Measerers Club were 5/1 at stumps.
In the day’s fifth match, Meghdut Naskar (92) helped Ballygunge Sporting Association post 361/9 against Uttarpalli Milan Sangha at stumps.
In the day’s sixth match, Debangshu Pakhira (74) helped Salkia Friends Association post 354 in 70 overs against Burnpur Cricket Club. In reply, Burnpur Cricket Club were 18/1 at stumps.
In the day’s seventh match, Taltala Ekata Sangha were bowled out for 221, thanks to Suraj Roy (6-62). In reply, Sahapur Sporting Club were 51/3 at stumps.
In the day’s eighth match, riding on a fine bowling by Salman Ahmed (5-42), Calcutta University Institute bundled out WB Association of Deaf for 196. In reply, CU were 96/2 at stumps.
In the day’s ninth match, Gymkhana beat Ariadaha SC by 7 wickets. Ariadaha were bowled out for 147. In reply, Aviroop Roy (56) helped Gymkhana chase the target down scoring 151/3.
