Burdwan beat Jalpaiguri in Inter District U-18 meet

Riding on a fine all-round show, Burdwan defeated Jalpaiguri by 67 runs in the CAB Inter District Under-18 two-day league cum knockout tournament on Saturday.
Batting first, Burdwan post 341 in 76.3 overs, thanks to Souvik Chatterjee (105).
Akash Roy bagged four wickets for Jalpaiguri.
In reply, despite a fighting 90 by Rajat Nag, Jalpaiguri bowled out for 274 in 79 overs on the second day. Sahil Shah claimed three wickets.
In the other match, Midnapore defeated South 24-PGS by 6 wickets.
Batting first, South 24-PGS were bundled out for just 100, thanks to Rohan Das (5-41) and Vishal Shaw (4-31).
In reply, Midnapore chased it down scoring 103/4 in 30 overs.
