Cricket Club of Bhavanipore post 562/5 in 2nd Div two-day meet

Sanjit Sardar (175), Kazi Md Safin (113) and Koushik Guha (100 not out) scored centuries each as Cricket Club of Bhavanipore posted a massive 562/5 in 85 overs against Gymkhana in the CAB Second Division two-day league cum knockout tournament on Friday.
In reply, Gymkhana were 3/1 at stumps on Day 1.
In the day’s second match, Azeem Baig (7-60) bowled superbly to help Salkia Friends Association bundle out Ballygunge Sporting Club for 151.
In reply, Salkia were also struggling at 120/7.
In the day’s third match, Bhupinder Singh (6-73) bowled superbly to help International Club beat Central Calcutta Sporting Club by 6 wickets.
Batting first, Central Calcutta posted were bundled out for 174 in 52.2 overs, thanks to Bhupinder.
In reply, International Club chased it down scoring 175/4 in 25.1 overs.
In the day’s fourth match, Biswajit Dey (5-32) and Saujan Biswas (4-35) helped West Bengal Police Sports Club beat Alipore Sporting Club by 5 wickets.
Batting first, Alipore were bundled out for 114. In reply, WB Police SC chased it down scoring 117/5.
In the day’s fifth match, High Court Club posted 255/9 in 85 overs, thanks to a fine unbeaten 100 by Pritam Malita. Prodip Das (5-51) impressed with the ball for Mohunlal Club.
In reply, Mohunlal Club were 18/1 at stumps.
In the day’s sixth match, Soumya Paul (93) helped Vijay Sports Club post 355 in 69.4 overs. In reply, Ariadaha SC were 22/1 at stumps.
In the day’s seventh match, Young Bengal Sporting Association were bowled out for 160, thanks to Ajit Kumar Rajak (5-29).
In reply, Behala Friends Union Club were 128/5 at stumps.
In the day’s eighth match, YMCA (Chow BR) posted 259 in 74.4 overs, thanks to Triash Das (74).
Rajesh Yadav bagged four wickets for Calcutta Rangers Club.
In reply, Calcutta Rangers were 10 for no loss at stumps.
In the day’s ninth match, despite a fighting 94 by Rashid Khan, Jorabagan Club were bowled out for 216 in 68.5 overs. Navanil Sarkar bagged 6 for 58. In reply, Aurora Athletic Association were 72/1 at stumps.
In the day’s tenth match, Albert Sporting Club were bowled out for 207, thanks to Rajesh Saroj (5-55).
In reply, Subarban were 42/3 at stumps.
