Swapnil scores 202 for Howrah Sporting in 2nd Div two-day meet

Leading from the front Swapnil Das scored a brilliant 202 to help Howrah Sporting Club post 394/8 against Balak Sangha at stumps on Day 1 in the CAB Second Division two-day league cum knockout tournament on Tuesday.
In the day's second match, Dipak Prasad (120) and Sk Md Sharukh (100 not out) batted superbly to help Calcutta Port Trust Sports Club post a massive 428/9 against South Suburban Club.
In reply, South Suburban Club were 24/3 at stumps.
In the day's third match, Star Sporting Club beat Howrah Union by 7 wickets.
Kaif Abbas (7-49) bowled superbly to help Star Sporting Club bundle out Howrah Union for 118 in 46.4 overs.
In reply, Star Sporting chased it down scoring 119/3 in 30.1 overs, thanks to Raman Singh (57).
In the day's fourth match, Karan Jay Kumar (5-41) impressed with the ball as White Border bowled out Abasar for just 158 in 62.5 overs.
