Nandani bags 5 to help Nadia win in
Inter District women’s U-18 meet

Nandani Bisas (5-3) displayed a superb effort with the ball to help Nadia rout Birbhum by 9 wickets in the CAB Inter District Women’s Under-18 league cum knockout one-day tournament on Sunday.
Batting first, Birbhum were bundled out for just 16 in 18.1 overs, thanks to Nandani.
In reply, Nadia chased it down scoring 17/1 in 3.1 overs.
In the day’s second match, Priyanka Prasad scored a fine 97 to help Burdwan beat Jalpaiguri by 149 runs.
Batting first, Burdwan posted 217/8 in 45 overs, thanks to a fighting knock by Priyanka.
In reply, Jalpaiguri were bowled out for 68 in 22.5 overs, thanks to Chandrima Ghosal (3-23) and Arunima Bhandopandhyay (3-23).
In the day’s third match, Hooghly defeated Murshidabad by 218 runs.
Batting first, Hooghly scored 292/4 in 38 overs, thanks to Sreekanta Ghoshal (76).
In reply, Murshidabad were bowled out for 74, thanks to a fine bowling by Sangita Dutta (5-7).
In the day’s fourth match, North 24-PGS beat Dakshin Dinajpur by 9 wickets.
Batting first, Dakshin Dinajpur were bundled out for 32.
In reply, North 24-PGS chased it down scoring 34/1 in 3.1 overs.
In the day’s fifth match, Howrah defeated South 24-PGS by 26 runs.
Batting first, Howrah were bowled out for 161 in 39.4 overs, thanks to Debarati Guha (3-16) and Tamanna Ghosh (3-26).
In reply, despite a fine 50 by Sumi Das, South 24-PGS were bundled out for just 135, courtesy of a fine bowling by Rupal Tiwari (4-28).
In the day’s sixth match, Ratna Barman (73 not out) and Sinjini Sarkar (72) helped Siliguri beat Bankura by 190 runs.
Batting first, Siliguri posted 304/4 in 45 overs.
In reply, Bankura were bowled out for 114, thanks to Nikita Sah (4-23).
