Murshidabad win in Inter District women's U-18 meet

Aritrika Ghosh scored a superb unbeaten 107 followed by a fine bowling by Nilanjana Das (5-27) as Murshidabad defeated Manbhum by 223 runs in the CAB Inter District Women's Under-18 league cum knockout one-day tournament on Saturday.
Batting first, Murshidabad posted 346/3 in 37 overs, thanks to Aritrika.
In reply, Manbhum were bundled out for 123 in 22.1 overs, courtesy of a fine bowling by Nilanjana.
In the day's second match, Chandernagore defeated Dakshin Dinajpur by 9 wickets.
Batting first, Dakshin Dinajpur were bundled out for just 51, thanks to Disha Manna (4-15).
In reply, Chandernagore chased it down scoring 52/1 in 7.4 overs.
In the day's third match, South 24-PGS defeated Malda by 8 wickets.
Batting first, Malda were bowled out for 105 in 33.4 overs, courtesy of a fine bowling by Shourjyani Chatterjee (4-22).

In the day's fourth match, Midnapore defeated Bankura by 10 wickets.
Batting first, Bankura were bundled out for just 43, thanks to Nilanjana Barik (3-6).
In reply, Midnapore chased it down easily scoring 46 for no loss in 6.2 overs.
In the day's fifth match, Jalpaiguri defeated Uttar Dinajpur by 7 wickets.
Batting first, Uttar Dinajpur were bowled out for 153 in 43.3 overs. Sushmita Paul scorēd 63, while Marjina Khatun bagged three wickets for Jalpaiguri.
In reply, Jalpaiguri chased it down scoring 154/3 in 29.1 overs.
In the day's sixth match, Birbhum defeated Cooch Behar by 2 wickets.
Batting first, Cooch Behar managed only 150/7 in 37 overs, thanks to Aparna Mirdha (3-33).
