Union Sporting Club win in 1st Div two-day meet

Raja Adhikary displayed an all-round show scoring a fine 68 followed by an impressive five-wicket haul to help Kolkata Union Sporting Club beat Indian Boys Athletic Club by 100 runs in the CAB 1st Division two-day league cum knockout tournament on Friday.
Batting first, Kolkata Union Sporting Club managed to post 255, thanks to Raja.
In reply, Indian Boys were bowled out for just 155.
In the day's second match, riding on a superb bowling by Rahul Prasad (7-61), YMCA (College Brunch) defeated Belgachia United Club bundled by 58 runs.
Batting first, YMCA were bowled out for 188.
In reply, Belgachia were bundled out for 130, thanks to Rahul.
In the day’s third match, Kidderpore Sporting Club defeated Dakshin Kolkata Sansad by 4 wickets.
Batting first, despite a fine 102 by Deepak Yadav, Dakshin Kolkata Sansad were bowled out 213.
In reply, Kidderpore chased down the target scoring 219/6, thanks to Abhishek Banerjee (60).
In the day's fourth match, Mohammedan Sporting Club defeated Dalhousie Athletic Club at stumps by 254 runs.
Batting first, Md. Sporting posted a massive score of 384/9, thanks to Dip Chatterjee (63), Gitimoy Basu (61).
In reply, Dalhousie were bundled out for 130, courtesy of a fine bowling by Indradeep Kr Pandit (3-22) and Nilkantha Das (3-58).
In the day's fifth match, United Club defeated Shibpur Institute by 201 runs.
Batting first, United Club posted 294, thanks to Seazan Hossain (62) and Avijit Mukherjee (62).
In reply, Shibpur were bundled out for 93, thanks to Soumyo Kanti Mukherjee (3-16).
In the day's sixth match, riding on a fine bowling effort by Jayant Chaudhary (5-66) and Kunal Kumar (4-73), Aryan Club defeated Calcutta Police Club by 5 wickets.
Batting first, Calcutta Police were bundled out for 189.
In reply, Aryan Club chased it down scoring 192/5, thanks to Gaurav Jathar (62).
