Kingkar hits match-winning 130 for
Greer Sporting in 2nd Div two-day meet

Riding on a fine 130 by Kingkar Roy, Greer Sporting Club defeated South Suburban Club by six wickets in the CAB Second Division two-day League cum Knockout tournament on Thursday.
Batting first, South Suburban Club posted 238 in 84.1 overs, thanks to Sanjeev Kumar (74).
In reply, Greer Sporting chased it down scoring 240/4.
In the day’s second match, Albert Sporting Club beat High Court Club by 196 runs.
Nayan Ghosh scored 110 to help Albert Sporting Club post a massive 449/9 in 85 overs.
In reply, despite a brilliant 150 by Shivam Singh, High Court went down scoring just 253 in 63 overs.
In the day’s third match, Vijay Sports Club beat Young Bengal Sporting Association by 77 runs.
Arka Chakraborty bagged six wickets to help Young Bengal Sporting Association bowl out Vijay Sports Club for just 192.
In reply, riding on an outstanding bowling by Soumya Paul (7-45), Young Bengal were bundled out for 115.
In the day’s fourth match, Bengal Sporting Club defeated Excelsiors Club by 2 wickets.
Excelsiors Club managed to post 259 in 81.5 overs, thanks to Abhishek Kumar Giri (86). In reply, Bengal Sporting Club chased the target down scoring 263/8, courtesy of a fine knock by Subhojit Pal (101 not out).
In the day's fifth match, Jorabagan defeated Mohunlal Club by 82 runs.
Batting first, Arijit Seal (97) and Chhattu Gayen (87) helped Jorabagan Club post a massive 399 in 84.4 overs.
In reply, despite a fighting 102 by Parag Sarkar, Mohunlal fell short scoring 317 in 76.4 overs.
In the day's sixth match, Howrah Sporting Club defeated Cricket of Dhakuria by 1 wicket.
Sourav Patra smashed an unbeaten 114 to help Howrah Sporting Club post 238.
In reply, Dhakuria chased the target down scoring 239/9 in 73.2 overs, thanks to Debanjan Das (62).
In the day’s seventh match, Calcutta Rangers Club defeated Subarban by 6 wickets.
Joydrath Nandi scored a fine 113 to help Subarban post 322.
In reply, riding on a fine 97 by Aman Siddiqui, Calcutta Rangers chased it down scoring 323/4.
In the day’s eighth match, Gymkhana defeated Bantra Cricket Club by 67 runs.
Riding on a fine 111 by Sohibur Rahaman, Gymkhana posted 275.
In reply, Bantra were bowled out for 208, thanks to a fine bowling by Priyam Chatterjee (6-65).
