North 24-PGS win big in Inter District U-18 meet

Chandrahas Dash and Biraj Malo hit centuries each to help North 24-PGS beat Bankura by 143 runs in the CAB Inter District Under-18 league cum knockout two-day tournament on Wednesday.
Batting first, North 24-PGS posted a massive 429/9 while Bankura fell short of the target scoring 286/8 on Day 2. Anirudh Chand scored 101 for Bankura.
In the day's second match, Murshidabad beat Jalpaiguri by 57 runs.
Batting first, Murdhidabad posted 256 in 42.2 overs, thanks to a fine 88 by Subham Chakraborty.
In reply, Jalpaiguri were bundled out for 199 in 33 on Day 2. Sk Rahaman bagged six wickets for Murshidabad.
