Sk. Md. Sharukh scored a match-winning 142 along with Mithun Dutta (101) to help Calcutta Port Trust Sports Club beat Satya Sandhi by 239 runs in their CAB 2nd Div One-Day League cum Knockout tournament on Sunday.
Batting first, Calcutta Port Trust posted 413/7 in 45 overs, thanks to twin centuries.
In reply, Satya Sandhi managed only 174/5 in 45 overs.
In the day’s second match, Balak Sangha defeated Ariadaha Sporting Club by 3 wickets.
Batting first, Ariadaha posted 252/6 in 45 overs.
In reply, riding on a superb 144 by Arjun Singh, Balak Sangha chased it down scoring 254/7 in 43.1 overs.
