Iman Chaudhuri bowled superbly picking up 6 wickets as Monohar Pukur Milan Samity defeated Tollygunge Agragami by 11 runs in the CAB 1st Division One-Day League cum knockout Tournament on Thursday.
Batting first, Monohar Pukur were bowled out for 153 in 44 overs. Arghadeep Saha was the top scorer with 40 runs.
In reply, Tollygunge were bundled out for 142 in 33.5 overs, thanks to a fine bowling by Iman.
In the day's second match, Kalighat Club beat George Telegraph Sports Club by 21 runs.
Batting first, Kalighat posted 253/6 in 45 overs, thanks to a Shreyansh Ghosh (80).
In reply, George Telegraph fell short of the target being bowled out for 232 in 43 overs.
Aritra Chatterjee was the star bowler for Kalighat picking up 4 wickets.
