Hemant bags 5 as Howrah Union win in 2nd Div One-Day meet

Kumar Hemant bagged an impressive five-wicket haul to help Howrah Union beat Star Sporting Club by 3 wickets in their CAB 2nd Div One-Day League cum Knockout tournament on Monday.
Batting first, Star Sporting were bundled out for 91 in 32.1 overs, thanks to fine bowling by Hemant (5-14).
In reply, Howrah chased it down scoring 96/7 in 29.5 overs.
In the day’s second match, Tohibur Rahaman’s unbeaten 102 went in vain as Gymkhana lost to Cricket of Dhakuria by 2 wickets.
Batting first, Gymkhana posted 263/6, thanks to Tohibur.
In reply, Dhakuria chased it down scoring 265/8 in 44.3 overs.
In the day’s third match, Calcutta Parsee Club defeated Mohunlal Club by 5 wickets.
