Md. Sporting & Baranagar script wins
in Women’s T20 Blast

Mohammedan Sporting Club and Baranagar Sporting Club scripted easy victories in their respective matches in the Byju’s Bengal Women’s T20 Blast at the MGR Cricket Academy Ground, Suri, on Sunday.
In the day’s first match, Baranagar defeated Kalighat Club by 8 wickets.
Put into bat, Kalighat managed to reach 103/6 in 20 overs. Mita Paul and Mouli Mondal picked up two wickets each for Baranagar.
In reply, Baranagar chased it down comfortably scoring 104/2 in 18.3 overs, thanks to a fine unbeaten 45 by Iti Sarkar.
In the day’s second match, Md. Sporting beat Gymkhana by 19 runs.
Md. Sporting managed to post 144/4 in 20 overs, courtesy of a fine unbeaten 44 by Dipa Das.
In reply, Gymkhana fell short scoring 125/7 in 20 overs. Shrayosi Aich claimed three wickets for Md. Sporting.
