Bishal scores unbeaten 127 in Inter District T20 meet

Bishal Roy Chowdhury smashed an unbeaten 127 off 65 balls to help North 24 PGS Champs beat Gour Badsha Malda by 134 runs in the CAB Inter District T20 Tournament in Balurghat on Friday.
Opting the bat, a fine batting effort from North 24 PGS saw them post 214/3 in 20 overs.
In reply, Gour Badsha were bundled out for 80 in 19.1 overs. Sambit Roy was the pick of the bowlers for North 24 PGS claiming three wickets. In the day’s second match in Murshidabad, Siliguri Bikash beat Manbhum Warriors by seven wickets.
Manbhum Warriors posted 101/7 in 20 overs. In reply, Siliguri Bikash chased down the target easily scoring 102/3 in 12.4 overs. Rajkamal Prasad was the top scorer with 53 runs. In the day’s third match in Balurghat, Maharaja of Cooch Behar beat Birbhum Ironman by 17 runs.
Maharaja of Cooch Behar posted 135/7 in 20 overs, thanks to a fine knock by Mahadeb Dutta (60 not out). In reply, Birbhum Ironman only managed to reach 118/8 in 20 overs.
In the day’s fourth match in Murshidabad, South 24 PGS DSA beat Bankura Horses by 55 runs. Batting first, South 24 PGS posted 159/4 while Bankura Horses managed to score 104/9 in 20 overs.
