Sehwag, Zaheer's darting times
1st October 2016
Even as a smart shower put a pause to an intriguing second day's play between India and New Zealand at Eden Gardens, two marksmen decided to entertain themselves by playong a game of dart.
One of them, Virender Sehwag, always hit the target with his bat and the other, Zaheer Khan, delivered the goods with ball in hand. In city as part of the commentary team, both of them enjoyed a game of dart as part of Star Sports' programme "Out of the Box".
After an initial banter over a toss of coin as to who whould shoot first, Sehwag allowed Zaheer to start the procedings. Both had six darts to throw in each round, for three rounds to decide on the winner.
The first game was a tight one which Zaheer won with one strike in the green zone. The second game saw Sehwag win outright hitting the bull's eye. The third had Zaheer strike rich form as he managed to pull off a winner with his fourth arrow.

The banter continued even after the match, when Sehwag said: "I had won, but the decision has gone against me and Zaheer was declared winner." However, there was no third umpire available, so the verdict remained unaltered.
