Bengal target third win against Railways
18th November 2022
Bengal will aim to keep their hopes alive for the Vijay Hazare Trophy knockout rounds with a win against Railways in the Elite Group E clash in Ranchi on Saturday.
With two wins from four games, Bengal will look to come out victorious in their two remaining games to stay in contention for the knockouts. Any slip-ups will be curtains for Laxmi Ratan Shukla's men.
Bengal will be up against an in-form Railways team, who have won three out of their four matches.
Bengal will go into the match with positives and confidence in both their batting and bowling department.
Batsmen Sudip Gharami, Anushtup Majumdar and Manoj Tiwary are all among the runs. Alrounder Shahbaz Ahmed will try to continue his purple patch.
In the bowling department, Mukesh Kumar, Geet Puri, Pradipta Pramanik and Shahbaz Ahmed, who have delivered in the last four games, will aim to add to their tally of wickets.
The others in the Bengal batting will also look to fire tomorrow.
It will be a good content between Bengal bowlers and Railways batsmen.
Railways have amassed two 340-plus totals in their four games.
