Bengal Senior Women beat
Jharkhand by 6 wickets
30th October 2022
The Bengal Senior Women's team won by a big 6-Wicket margin against Jharkhand in the Senior Women's T20 Trophy, played at Alur Cricket Stadium, Bangalore. This was the third consecutive win by the Senior Women's team in the tournament. The team's collective performance helped to restrict the opposition to 86, whereas the Women of Bengal chased it down in less than 15 overs, losing just 4 wickets.
Saika Ishaque struck the Jharkhand line up in her very first over and in the 8th ball of the match. Her 3 for 25 helped the Bengal side restrict the Jharkhand batting order for cheap runs. Sukanya Parida's 2 for 16, Gouher Sultana and Mita Paul's one each packed the JSCA Women's for less than 100.
For the CAB side, Dharra Gujjar's unbeaten 49 and R. Bala's 20 for 27 helped the senior Bengal women clinch another comfortable win in the Senior Women's T20 Trophy. The CAB Women will take on the Rajasthan Women's team on Tuesday, in the same ground.
