Shukla, Raman looking forward to a good season

Batting consultant WV Raman today said the current crop of Bengal cricketers are a talented bunch and he is looking forward to working with them.
WV Raman said "There is a fair bit of talent among the pool of boys which is useful for Bengal for this season. I would help them in improving on their skills and they must play their natural game.
He further added" The key is fitness of the players and how they retain the intensity during the 5-6 months long season and sustain both mentally and physically."
Bengal chief coach Laxmi Ratan Shukla said " We are working very hard along with WV Raman sir. Patsy (Sourashish Lahiri) and support staff are working with the boys on their basics."
Asked about the bootcamp kind of physical fitness regime, Shukla said, "I believe in actual strength and fitness which is a result of their workout in the sun and the players also want to prepare themselves in the same way."
He also said "We stay in the present and we will improve day by day and I believe that everything is possible and your preparation will make you tough."
