KKR camp in the city

KKR conducted a day-long camp with the Bengal junior boys and girls, totalling 40, with Avishek Nair and Omkar Salve passing on their wisdom to the budding cricketers.
KKR cricketers Nitish Rana and Rinku Singh were also present on the occasion.
Later addressing a press meet on this occasion, in presence of CAB Jt Secretary Debabrata Das, Chief Guest Mayor in Council, KMC, In-charge of Parks & Gardens, Sports,Advertisement, Parking & Hawker's Rehabilitation Scheme Debashish Kumar welcomed the day long camp but urged KKR to conduct more such camps for longer duration and hoped to see more players from Bengal become Knights.
Mr Das speaking on the occasion lauded KKR for conducting such an effective camp and hoped to see their association with Bengal grow across all formats.
Avishek Nair was impressed with the indoor training facilities and said over the last few years Bengal has become a team that was a contender for Ranji Trophy and that could happen only with a proper supplyline. With Covid gone he was hopeful of more such interactions.
Several members of CAB, including School Committee Chairman Shibabrata Dutta, Player's Benevolent & Benefit Fund committee chairman Santanu Kumar Mitra, Medical Committee Chairman Pradip Kumar Dey, Observer committee chairman Amalendu Biswas were present on the occasion.
Among others Observer committee member Srimanta Kumar Mullick, Senior tournament committee member Tapan Kumar Addy and Stadium committee Member Danish Sheth were also present.
