Press Note--Joint Statement by CAB

Please find the following as quoted in a section of the media:
“The ODI as per rotation was to come to Kolkata but it was during the time of Durga Puja and CAB won’t be able to organize the police deployment during festival time."
In this regard it is clarified that the purported information as mentioned above is incorrect and that CAB not being able to organise any international match does not arise. More so since the Durga Puja is getting over by 5th of October and the matches are scheduled even after that date.
It is a humble request to all such media houses who reported the earlier news to kindly carry a corrigendum.
Eden Gardens got India vs SA ODI match as per Rotation Chart in March 2020, which had to be called off due to Covid.
Thereafter, no ODI matches have taken place in Kolkata.
