CAB observes Dada's 50 in a gorgeous affair

BCCI President Sourav Ganguly's 50th birthday was celebrated with fanfare, grace and spontaneous excitement at his home association CAB.
A specially designed cake was cut by his elder brother and CAB Hony. Secretary Snehasish Ganguly, Treasurer Debasish Ganguly and Vice-President Naresh Ojha.
Besides this fifty sparklers were lit at BC Roy clubhouse foyer to mark the 50th birthday of the former India skipper.
CAB President Avishek Dalmiya who is currently in London also sent his best wishes on behalf of the Association to Maharaj. In a video message, he said: "Best wishes to Maharaj da. Our favourite, friend, philosopher, guide and elder brother for all of us. On behalf of the Cricket Association of Bengal I wish him happy birthday. He has completed fifty gracefully and we wish to see him hit an unbeaten century."
On this occasion Snehasish Ganguly said: "Today is a very special day, I thank everyone for coming together to celebrate Sourav's 50th birthday. We have grown up together, shared a room while playing matches and I have never seen such natural cricketing talent. I wish him loads of happiness, it's been a very successful journey for him and wish him more."
All the members of the association were invited on the occasion.
Naresh Ojha, CAB Vice- President spoke during the occasion: "When I first saw him he was 17-18 years old, I saw him bat for CAB and knew he's a different talent all together. He has been successful in his role in cricket, been the best captain and now in administration he's doing very well. We wish him all the best in all future endeavours and hope he keeps achieving more and more for our country."
CAB Treasurer Debasish Ganguly wished the former India captain on his birthday: "What Sourav has achieved is unbelievable, for me he his the best captain in the world. Wish him best for all future endeavours."
