Sandipan hits double ton as Bhawanipore
crush Paikpara to enter semis

All-rounder Sandipan Das slammed double ton to help Bhawanipore Club thrash Paikapara by a margin of 431 runs to qualify for the semifinals of CAB First Division Qualifier Championship today.
Resuming the day on 405/3 Bhawanipore reached 552 as Sandipan made 226-ball 200 and later with the help of Pradipta Pramanik four-for bundled out opponents for 121 runs.
In Second Division Championship Playoff quarterfinals match Venkatesh Reddy stole the limelight with a whirlwind 70-ball 119 as Bata Sports Club chased down 353-run target with one wicket in hand.
Along with Bata, Shibpur Institute and Uttar Palli Milan Sangha also reaches semifinals winning their respective matches. In another match started today YMCA (Chow Br) bowler Sarit Dutta registered five-for to bundle Balak Sangha for 152 runs.
