Burdwan reach Inter District U19 semifinals

All-round Burdwan defeated Uttar Dinajpur in a high-voltage CAB Inter District U19 tournament quarterfinal match by 54 runs today at Mankundu Sporting Club ground, Chandannagar.
Burdwan elected to bat first after winning toss and posted a challenging 152 all out and in reply opponents Uttar Dinajpur were bundled out for 98 runs.
Among Burdwan batters Arka Batabyal (36) , Soubhagya Sundar (28) added crucial runs after opener Souvick Chatterjee (26) gave them a steady start.
While chasing Uttar Dinajpur kept losing wickets in regular intervals as Soubhagya starred with ball too bagging 3 wickets while Sujal Gupta and Arka picked up 2 wickets apiece to floor opponents' batting for just 98 runs.
