Town down Md Sporting thanks to Suprodip ton

Suprodip Debnath slammed a whirlwind 56-ball 108 not out to power Twon Club to a thumping 84-run victory over Md Sporting today in JC Mukherjee Memorial trophy.
Batting first Suprodip got crucial support from experienced Ompal Boken who continued his good form with the bat scoring 52 off just 28 balls to take Town to 228/5 in their quota of overs. While defending Geet Puri four-for ensured Town Club a comfortable victory.
East Bengal continued their winning run courtesy to Ranjot Singh Khaira’s unbeaten 63 in a low-scoring match against BNR Club, Anas Ali Khan and Surojit Das fifties ensured Aikya Sammilani 8-wicket win over Netaji Subhas Institute and United Club defeated Ballygunge United.
In CAB Second Division Championship Playoff Rakesh Gond picked up 6 wickets to dismantle Calcutta Cricket Club batting line up as Balak Sangha emerged victorious by 20 runs and Bantra clinched a narrow 8-run victory over Gymkhana thanks to Pritam Gupta’s 4 for 78.
