Bengal trail by 259 runs in Cooch Behar trophy

Bengal ended the second day on 203/7 in Cooch Behar trophy as Haryana lead by 259 runs at Eden Gardens today.
Earlier Haryana posted 462 batting first powered by Mayank Shandilya's unbeaten double ton. Ravi Kumar (4-77) and Milind Mondal (3-94) starred with the ball for Bengal.
Put to bat Bengal got off to a shaky start losing Rohit Ram (17) early. Sayan Dey (46*) and Ayush Kumar Singh (47) steadied the ship with 62-run partnership before losing the latter one and Bengal skipper Abhishek Porel in quick succession.
Toufiq Uddin went back after making a fluent 52 and wickets kept falling to make things difficult for Bengal as the hosts ended the day on 203/7.
