Aditya Academy Sr. Secondary brushed aside Shree Jain Vidyalaya by 551 runs as their skipper Sarif Ahamed hit second ton in-a-row followed by Ayush Sahai six-for and Sundarban Adarsha Vidyamandir Satyam Patra led from the front with unbeaten 217 today in Mayor's cup.
Batting first Aditya Academy piled up 575/6 as their skipper Sarif slammed a whirlwind 84-ball 171 containing 7 sixes and 24 boundaries. Later Sahai 6 bagged leaking just 8 and Sourav Poddar picked up 3 to floor Shre Jain for a paltry 24 runs.
Sundarban Adarsha skipper Styam scored blistering 116-ball 217 containing 7 sixes and 31 boundaries to post a total of 366/5 and later bundled out Don Bosco for 84 runs.
Patha Bhavan defeated Sri Sri Academy by 39 runs thanks to Santaba Dastidar four-for while Raghav Jhawar century went in vain, BDM International rode on three half-centuries to overcome Tirthapati Institution, St Johns Public School powered by Rahul Kundu five-for to beat South Point High School while Rohit Pradhan mastered the chase with unbeaten 84.
Ton-up Mayank Jaiswal and Anik Sarkar five-for helped Heritage School win by 155 runs, another five-wicket taker of the day Sounak Nandi won it for Sudhir Memorial Institute while Ratnakar North Point, Nava Nalanda were also victorious.
