All-round Ali helps St. James continue
winning momentum

St. James School registered their second straight win the Mayor's cup by thrashing National James HS School by a margin of 241 runs courtesy to Ali Ahamed's match-winning all-round performance today.
St James's total of 340/8 was crafted by Ali's fluent 65 along with Uzair Ali Khan fifty batting first. Later Ali created trouble for opponents' batters with a five for 14 and bundled National James for a paltry 99 runs.
Another all-rounder to win a match for his team today was Vedant Gupta won it for St. Xaviers Collegiate School. Vedant took 3 wickets while balling and slammed a crucial 48 while chasing, in both departments highest for his team to beat MP Birla Foundation HS School.
In a low scoring match Rammohan Mission successfully defended their 121-run total by bundling out Sri Sri Academy for 98 runs as Rudraneel Das picked up 4 wickets, St John's Public School defeated Sri Ram Narayan Singh Memorial HS riding on Mehroj Rana century and crucial 4-wicket haul by Jaswant Ram, Patha Bhavan won by 189-run win over St. Stephen's School Dumdum.
St. Stephen's batter Karnak Chakraborty stayed unbeaten on 99. Ratnakar North Point School won by a big margin of 181 runs thanks to skipper Jeet Thakur who scored 80 and took 3 wickets.
