Assam stroll to victory

Assam beat Odisha by 6 wickets in their last East Zone T20 league match today at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata. Odisha's 143 for 7 was chased down by Assam in 18.3 overs losing only 4 wickets. After winning toss, Odisha chose to bat, but no one looked in good touch, excepting Biplab Samantaray, who scored 50 off 44 balls. Odisha finished at 143 for 7 in 20 overs.
Thereafter, coming out to bat, Assam batted with ease, chasing down Odisha's target within 18.3 over with six wickets still to go. While, Amit Verma topped the bowling of  Assam, bagging 3 for 19, Basant Mohanti returned with figure 2 for 17 for Odisha.
