Police AC take 6 points against Mohun Bagan

Police AC in a dominating display powered by Kaushik Maity six-for and Kaushik Giri half-century took 6 points against Mohun Bagan by the virtue of first innings lead after the match was drawn while Paikpara Sporting thrashed George Telegraph by an innings and 178 runs to bag full 10 points in CAB first division league today.
Paikpara bowler Souvick Ghosh was at his best bagging five-wicket hauls in both innings to bundle opponents George for 113 and 143 runs.
Bhowanipore Club despite posting a mammoth 437/7 in the first innings failed to bundle Aryan in the second innings as the the match resulted in a draw. Bhowanipore got 8 points from the game while Aryan took 2.
In group B&C Md Sporting defeated BNR by 132 runs thanks to Diptolok Chatterjee and Vikas centuries, match between Rajasthan Club and Netaji Subhash Institute ended in a draw and Calcutta Customs chased 322-run target riding on Abhishek Gupta's 136 not out.
In a nail biting encounter with NSI needing 1 run off the last ball, bowler Abhishek Tamang saved the day for Rajasthan Club by taking wicket on that ball and draw the game.
In other matches Aikya Sammilani and Kolkata Union Sporting were both victorious thanks to their bowlers Rohan Rawat and Biplab Roy Chowdhury respectively.
In second division matches Burnpur defending a total of 337 runs kept things tight for Cricket Club of Dhakuria to bundle them for 170 runs, Mohunlal Club beat Jorabagan by 19 runs and Baranagar Sporting won against Subarban Club.
Burnpur bowler Sourav Dawn registered a five-wicket haul.
